The CJK text options were behind per-language "Enable layout" toggles in
the file menu and the settings, each with its own sidebar section. A text
now has one language, picked in a single Language panel, and the options
of that language show below it.
- Rename the `vertical-text-layout` flag and feature to `cjk-support`.
- Remove the per-file and per-profile layout toggles, the file options
that stored them and the `:set-text-layout` change.
- Add the Language panel: a grouped dropdown of Japanese, Korean and the
regional Chinese variants, a row to change the language and a button to
remove it, "Mixed" when the selected texts differ. Picking a language
writes it to every paragraph of the texts.
- Render the CJK attrs only under the language that uses them, so a text
without language is horizontal and plain. The stored content keeps
every attr.
- Remember the last picked language for the next new texts.
- Add File > Language: the language of the texts without one of their
own, applied at render time and laid out again when it changes.
- Add the profile text language in Settings > Options: new files start
with it as their file language.
- Extract the grouped dropdown of the board size presets into a shared
component used by the presets and the Language panel.
- Name the Japanese readings furigana, drop the redundant prefixes of
the furigana and pinyin options, move Distribute below the writing
mode row and show only the position sides of the writing mode.

Font fetches are shared per URL, so a text that asks for a face already
being fetched gets no fetch callback. process-pending only relaid out
text after its own callbacks, so such a text kept its fallback-font
layout. Auto-grow text recovered through the reflow resize, but fixed
text stayed wrong until another change.
Wait for the text's pending faces to be stored or to fail before the
relayout, whoever started their fetch.

Restore the pre-composition content and UTF-16 selection when an IME ends
with an empty replacement. Keep styles, selection direction and redo intact
without recording cancellation as an edit. Share snapshot restoration with
editor undo and redo.
Add a regression for styled selections and cancellation after undo. Verify
commit, cancellation, deletion and history in four saved showcase examples,
including emoji and decomposed Korean Jamo in both writing directions.

Keep bounded content and selection history within each editing session.
Group committed compositions and styled insertions, omit IME previews,
and reset history when external content changes the editing baseline.
Route keyboard, workspace menu and browser history input to the editor.
Restore UTF-16 selections through a new WASM binding, preserving styles,
readings and paragraph settings without reaching earlier canvas edits.
Verify 1,587 frontend tests, 671 renderer tests and both WASM builds.
Add four editable showcase examples and verify them after reopening.

Add typed one-character Zhuyin readings with upright right-side symbols
and separate neutral and non-neutral tones in both writing modes.
Persist the mode through the editor, WASM bridge and Plugin API. Preserve
annotation clearance and canvas, PNG, PDF and SVG geometry.
Validate syntax and selection boundaries, and cover schema, bridge,
rendering, UI and API behavior. Native IME and reader review remain open.

Add named Chinese punctuation presets and a Korean keep-words mode for
horizontal and vertical layout. Preserve the saved spaces-only mode and
keep source offsets stable through safe emergency wrapping.
Apply bounded CJK spacing and justification, expose the new choices in the
sidebar, and document preset bounds and remaining release checks.
Verify renderer, frontend, common and exporter tests, both WASM builds,
and sample save/reload plus PNG, PDF and SVG exports. Existing CI failures
remain documented in the layout notes.

Lay out horizontal and vertical Japanese text with kinsoku, ruby,
emphasis, warichu, tate-chu-yoko and proportional font features.
Carry the layout through glyph paths, SVG export and text selection.
Update the Rust and ClojureScript binary formats together, including
the editor bridge and headless exporter. Resolve CJK fallback fonts
and add renderer tests and font fixtures.
When render-wasm is active, generate SVG for the Code inspector and
Copy as SVG from the WASM export path instead of classic SVG codegen.
Add multi-root render_shapes_svg so multi-select stays one document.
Closes#12567
When render-wasm is active, shape exports (single file, ZIP, and Export
boards multi-page PDF) run on the shared worker WASM module so the UI
stays responsive. A progressive PDF session (begin/add-page/finish)
updates progress per page; cancel settles on the client. The server
exporter path remains for the SVG renderer.
* ♻️ Move some constants out of app.render-wasm.api
- Moved to aapp.render-wasm.wasm where they can be imported
without pulling half the editor with them
- Renamed one for consistency
* 🔥 Delete unused function, update docstring

* ♻️ Factor GL context initialization out of canvas init
- fixes setting of gl-context-handle to be after _init so an exception
does not leave invalid state behind.
- api.init-canvas-context uses a new webgl.init-context!
- this decouples config from init, so we can reuse it in benchmarks

* ♻️ Share structural batch upload through common helper
- Merge svg-filters and svg-fills to app.common.render-wasm.svg-derived
- Add serialize-shapes-batch! in common, shared by the sync and chunked
workspace paths
- Add a routing test for the helper and wires the svg-filters test.

* 🐛 Derive SVG effects inside single-shape serializer
- Single and batch paths: one svg effect derivation step
owned by shared serializers.
- set-object forwards the derived shape to its host attrs,
and the exporter reads the derived fills, so SVG-attr
fills, blur and shadow render as in the frontend.
- Adds regression test to the exporter.

* ⚡ Capture canvas snapshot only when the renderer is idle
* ⚡ Skip descendant silhouettes for frames with nested drop shadows
* 🔧 Add a profiling build mode for render-wasm
During reload-renderer!, reloading? keeps initialized?/ready? false
while set-objects runs (especially the sync path for small files).
Text content used that guard and was skipped; geometry already used

wasm/live? so text is restored with the rest of the shapes.
Emit clipped `<image href>` for fills with a registered media URL instead
of Skia base64 embeds. Register URLs from the frontend and exporter via
store_image_url. Cover rect, path, frame, and text (glyph clip) cases in
SVG export tests.
Closes#11383
* 🐛 Align WASM auto-width text size with HTML measurement
Include the HTML paragraph-set 1px right margin in Skia auto-width
so WASM and DOM measurements match.
* ⚡ Scope and defer post-font WASM text relayout
Track pending font faces per shape, force-relayout only affected
texts, defer stale-selrect sync until the first tiles paint, and
batch request-render after attr updates. Tolerate missing font-face
keys so callers that omit them do not blow up.
Upload structural shape attrs (base, children, blur, shadows,
flex, layout-item) via multi-shape `_set_shapes_batch` FFI in
chunks of 512, then apply host attrs with use-shape selection.
Present visible tiles via ViewportReady so zoom settle turns sharp
without waiting on the interest ring, and paint at atlas slot size so
DPR 2 does not rasterize 1024 only to downscale into 512 slots.
Pan/zoom via render_from_cache while the tile atlas is still empty
left a blank workspace under the page-transition blur. Ignore
set-view-box / view-interaction-start until tiles-complete, block
pointer events on the viewport SVG, and flush any deferred local
viewport sync when the overlay ends.
HQ tiles are 512px and the atlas stays at 4096² (64 full-size
slots). Browser zoom plus a forced ?dpr= can need more visible
tiles than that, and a framebuffer larger than the GPU allows.
Pack interest tiles into smaller atlas cells, blit at 512 then
scale, and inset Linear samples so seams do not bleed. Clamp the
canvas backing store and DPR together, wrap Skia at the real
drawingBuffer size, and wait one frame after DPR changes so CSS
client size and overlays stay aligned.

Pass performance.now from finalize/debounce and re-anchor the WASM
budget if the stamp is 0 or already past max_blocking_time, so HQ
tiles are not yielded after a few nodes with almost no real work.
Every pointerup unconditionally fires finish-panning and finish-zooming,
which call finalize-view-interaction!. This triggered internal-render
(and reset_canvas) on plain clicks — causing a visible white flash on
large viewports or weak GPUs.
Add a guard so finalize-view-interaction! only runs when a view
interaction (pan/zoom) is actually active.
