f68fb0c4cf docs(schedule): lead the walkthrough with a behavioural spec
Restructure per review: state what the system promises before how the
code delivers it. The thin product-decision table becomes a full §1
behavioural spec written in zero implementation vocabulary -- user
operations, scheduling semantics, the skip-not-queue overlap decision,
the busy-wait guarantees (delayed, never lost; ordered by due time; no
catch-up of missed cron periods), the failure/recovery table, and an
explicit non-goals list (no queue, no punctuality guarantee, no task
credentials, single scheduler instance) -- each promise cross-referenced
to the section whose mechanism delivers it.

The mechanism chapters absorb what the spec now promises: §6.2 explains
where waiting goes (the table as an implicit priority queue via the
claim query's ordering), §6.3 and a new pitfall entry name the
budget-leak boundary when a completion callback is lost, §8's defence
table gains the race-window column and a per-layer error-translation
table as the journey's unhappy half, and the HTTP endpoint block moves
beside the commands it carries.

563245d96f docs(schedule): rewrite the module walkthrough for the finished slice
Bring SCHEDULE_DESIGN_zh.md to the same reference-implementation
walkthrough shape as FEEDBACK_DESIGN_zh.md: it now assumes the spec has
been read, drops the mid-migration 'current state' warnings (the legacy
code is deleted), and covers what the old version predated -- the
commands chapter (UNSET three-state updates, ContextChange, why the
clock- and callback-driven writes stay plain methods), the adapters and
composition-root chapter (CAS field ownership, the corrupt-row error
split, the two anti-corruption layers and the inbound completion
listener), the dispatch journey with the three-driver macro diagram the
spec's §5.3 points at, and the test-layering table for the current
suites.

The spec's §6 marks the schedule slice done and drops the three
completed to-dos; the docs index gains the schedule walkthrough next to
its sibling.

345b046a1c refactor(schedule): delete the superseded pre-hexagonal implementation
Remove the legacy stack the hexagonal slice replaced, now that nothing
assembles it: app/scheduler/service.py (the old orchestration),
app/gateway/routers/scheduled_tasks.py (the old dict-returning router,
no longer mounted), the deerflow/scheduler package (its cron/timezone
rules live in ScheduleSpec), the dict-returning repositories in
persistence/scheduled_task*/sql.py, and the deps.py providers and
app.state wiring that served them. The ORM rows and the
uq_scheduled_task_run_active partial unique index stay -- the table
definitions live with the shared engine/alembic infrastructure and the
schedule adapters are their only readers and writers.

The legacy test suites go with the code they pinned; every scenario has
a counterpart in the new suites. The one suite that guarded semantics
rather than the old implementation -- the real-database dispatch-race
TOCTOU tests -- is migrated to the new stack as
test_schedule_dispatch_race.py, driving ScheduleService over the real
SQL adapters with the same barrier, natural-timing, and index-semantics
cases.

Docs and comments that named the old classes as the current wiring
(backend/AGENTS.md, reload_boundary.py, channel/service comments) now
name the composition-root wiring instead.

34ce7c259b refactor(schedule): make the run-completion hook an inbound adapter
`run_outcome_mapping.py` called itself "not a port implementation" and sat in
a package of secondary adapters, while the half that actually invoked the use
case lived as a closure in the composition root. It is one thing, and it is a
primary adapter: the run runtime calls it the way HTTP calls the router and
the clock calls the poller.

`ScheduleRunCompletionListener` now holds the whole responsibility -- decide
whether a finished run is ours, translate it, invoke the use case. Those are
not two jobs: "ignore this run" is only meaningful as "do not call the
service", so splitting them is what left the second half in a place where
behaviour is not asserted.

`build_run_completion_hook` drops to `return
ScheduleRunCompletionListener(service)`. The composition root's own docstring
says no adapter logic lives there; that is now true of it as well as of the
routers it was written about.

Placement
---------
Kept in `app/adapters/schedule/` rather than moved beside the other two
primary adapters. The context stays in one package; direction is stated by
the class name and each module's first line, and the package `__init__` --
previously empty -- now lists which of its modules point which way, so a file
added without that line is visibly a file whose direction nobody decided.
A subdirectory for a single inbound module would have made the other four
look like they had been sorted into something.

Tests
-----
This is the part that was not a rename. The conversion had 24 cases; the
invocation had none, because the composition root is not where behaviour is
asserted, so nothing covered "an ordinary chat run must not reach the
service" as opposed to "produces no outcome object".

The cases now drive `__call__` against a recording service, which asserts the
same mappings plus what was done with them, and adds the two that were
unreachable before: the service left entirely alone for a filtered run, and
the completion stamped with a tz-aware current instant.

`test_composition.py` gains `TestRunCompletionHook` for the assembly decision
that remains -- including that the hook is bound to the service it was given,
which a wrong wiring would type-check past. Confirmed by mutation that this
case fails when the binding is broken.

680f044e58 refactor(schedule): move schedule_spec translation onto its owners
`spec_column.py` and `spec_wire.py` were the same 60 lines twice, kept in
sync by a parity suite. Both are gone; what they did is now split along the
line that actually separates the two boundaries.

Why two files existed
---------------------
They were one module until the slice split it, and the reason given for the
split holds: a primary adapter must not import a secondary one, and the two
shapes are equal only by coincidence. But that argument only requires the two
*shapes* to be independent -- it does not require the parsing *rule* to be
written twice, and writing it twice is what needed `test_schedule_spec_parity`
to assert the two agreed, down to identical error text.

Splitting it properly
---------------------
`ScheduleSpec.from_primitives(schedule_type, *, cron, run_at, timezone)` takes
four strings, not a `Mapping[str, Any]` -- the mapping was the thing that kept
this out of the domain, and four strings carry no transport or storage format
with them. It owns the whole rule: unknown type, missing or non-string field,
unparseable `run_at`, and (via __post_init__, unchanged) 5-field cron and
resolvable timezone. Values are checked rather than trusted, since both
callers read data a client can influence.

Each adapter keeps only what is genuinely its own -- which two keys its format
uses -- as private methods on the class that owns the boundary, matching how
`SqlFeedbackRepository` and AWS's own ports-and-adapters sample put the
conversion inside the adapter rather than beside it:

  SqlScheduledTaskRepository._spec_from_row / _spec_to_column
  models.ScheduledTaskCreateRequest.to_schedule / models._spec_to_wire

The emit direction stays duplicated, deliberately: it is three lines per side
with no rule in it, and the two are *allowed* to diverge -- one is an HTTP
contract, the other a storage format. Asserting they stay byte-identical was
a constraint neither side asked for, so that suite is not replaced.

The router stops building value objects
---------------------------------------
`create` passes `body.to_schedule()`. `update` passes
`body.to_schedule(current.schedule)`, replacing eight lines that re-emitted
the current spec to the wire shape purely to read defaults back out of it;
omitted parts now come off the value object directly.

Tests
-----
`test_schedule_spec_parity.py` is deleted (162 lines). Its structural and
value cases moved to `TestFromPrimitives` in the domain suite -- stated once
now instead of parametrized over two implementations. Emit coverage was
already elsewhere: wire in `test_schedule_response_models`, column via the
repository round-trip in `test_schedule_fakes`.

One gap found while removing it: the `once` half of the update fallback had
no coverage on either side (both existing cases use cron), and it is exactly
the branch this commit rewrites -- `spec_to_wire(current)` round-trip to
`current.run_at.isoformat()`. Added
`test_a_timezone_change_on_a_once_task_keeps_the_same_instant`, and confirmed
by mutation that it is the only case that catches that branch breaking.

Behaviour is unchanged: same wire shapes, same normalizations (whitespace in
cron, trailing Z re-emitted as +00:00), same error messages, so the 422
details clients see do not move.

eb37df0779 refactor(schedule): wire the slice through a composition root
Switches production onto the hexagonal path. The legacy modules still
compile and still have tests, but nothing assembles them any more; deleting
them is the next commit, kept separate so it stays reviewable.

Composition root
----------------
`app/composition.py::build_domain_services()` is now the only place an
adapter is instantiated. It was extracted from `deps.py::langgraph_runtime`
rather than added to it: wiring there was tangled with engine startup,
orphan recovery and shutdown, so the one rule that governs it -- no SQL
backend means no service and the routes answer 503 -- could not be tested
without booting the whole application, and was held up by a single comment.
It is a pure function of already-built infrastructure, so that rule is now
an assertion. Feedback moved with it; doing this while adding schedule's
five objects costs one change instead of two.

Primary adapter
---------------
The router is protocol translation only. What is gone is the giveaway: cron
normalisation, `next_run_at` arithmetic, the re-arm rule and hand-written
ownership checks all now live in the aggregate. Domain errors map to status
codes through one table, so a new error surfaces as a 500 to be classified
rather than being swallowed by whichever `except` was nearest.

`spec_mapping` split in two (AWS's own layout puts the wire model under the
entrypoint that owns it, and a primary adapter must not import a secondary
one): `adapters/schedule/spec_column.py` for the JSON column,
`routers/schedule/spec_wire.py` for the HTTP body. The two shapes are equal
only by coincidence, so `test_schedule_spec_parity.py` runs every case
against both and compares their outputs and messages directly. Function
names differ per side so an import from the wrong one is visible.

Explicit responses
------------------
Routes returned the ORM row's `to_dict()`, leaking `user_id`,
`assistant_id`, `overlap_policy` and the two lease columns. The response
models publish exactly the field set the frontend declares -- asserted in
both directions, since an extra field is a leak and a missing one breaks a
client.

One wire detail was nearly changed by accident: Pydantic v2 serializes a UTC
datetime as `...Z`, while the legacy `coerce_iso` path emitted `+00:00`.
`UtcTimestamp` pins `isoformat()` so adopting a model does not silently
alter the wire format for every client parsing these.

Tests
-----
73 new cases: router behaviour driven through a real `ScheduleService` over
in-memory fakes (a mocked service would let the error mapping pass without
a domain error ever being raised), response shape, and the composition root.
Router mappings verified by mutation -- a wrong status code or a dropped
timezone fallback turns 9, 2 and 1 cases red respectively.

Two lifespan tests carried a `SimpleNamespace` config that predates this
change; `langgraph_runtime` now reads `config.scheduler`, so they were given
one. Tolerating the gap with `getattr` was rejected: `AppConfig.scheduler`
always exists, so the fallback would be unreachable in production and exist
purely to excuse an incomplete test double.

Full suite is back to its 24 pre-existing failures.

0bae77ffc0 refactor(schedule): move the secondary adapters to app/adapters
Adopts the layout feedback landed in cb49dd67: secondary adapters live
under `app/adapters/<context>/`, one file per port, the file named after
the port in snake_case with the technology carried by the class name.
`app/infra/` is now gone entirely.

The rename also separates two meanings of "run" that shared one filename
space: `run_sql.py` held `ScheduledRun` (an execution record), while the
`run_launcher.py` still to come deals in Gateway runs.

  task_sql.py     -> scheduled_task_repository.py
  run_sql.py      -> scheduled_run_repository.py
  spec_mapping.py -> spec_mapping.py  (implements no port, so no rename)

Both SQL adapters now carry the `Secondary adapter (owned persistence)`
docstring marker -- this context owns both tables and writes its own
queries. `spec_mapping` says instead that it is a boundary mapping and
names its two callers. The package `__init__.py` is empty, so imports go
through the full path and a class's home file stays unambiguous.

Pure move: every top-level symbol was compared against its pre-move
original by AST dump (docstrings excluded), plus a separate per-class
method-name comparison, since a whole-class dump reports a docstring edit
and a renamed method the same way.

Also repoints three docstrings and one diagram that still named the
deleted `app/infra/` path.

57ba19b877 docs(hexagonal): split the module walkthrough out of the layering guide
HEXAGONAL_ARCHITECTURE_zh.md now carries rules only: the two orthogonal
boundaries, the AWS three-folder mapping, the two kinds of secondary
adapter, and how the boundaries are mechanically enforced. The feedback
walkthrough, its known gaps, and its todo list move to a module document,
so the guide stays readable as more modules are migrated.

Two corrections to the guide, both of which would have misled a reader:

- Ports belong inside `domain/`, not beside it. AWS places `ports/` as a
  subdirectory of `domain/` and describes the domain folder as "domain and
  interfaces"; lifting ports into a third top-level layer would make the
  domain depend on an outside package to declare its own needs. The guide
  now states this explicitly, since the opposite reading is common.
- The walkthrough had the service calling RunLookup before building the
  aggregate. The code does the reverse, and the order matters: validation
  runs before any port call, so an invalid rating on a nonexistent run is
  reported as InvalidRatingError rather than RunNotFoundError. The same
  section also called that check authorization; it is referential
  integrity, and authorization is the router's owner_check plus this check
  taken together -- which is why the port takes no user_id.

FEEDBACK_DESIGN_zh.md is new and follows the SCHEDULE_DESIGN_zh.md shape:
the aggregate and its invariants, both ports and the conventions that
matter more than their signatures, the four use cases, both adapters, the
walkthrough, the test layering, an extension guide, and a pitfall list.

Three things it records that were not written down anywhere:

- The aggregate reads the system clock in its default factory, which
  schedule deliberately avoids. Acceptable while the timestamp is only a
  bookkeeping stamp and feeds no rule; noted with the condition that would
  force a change.
- A repository that explicitly inherits its Protocol turns a misspelled
  method into a silent None, because the inherited body is `...`. Hit for
  real during the move. isinstance() cannot detect it, so asserting "the
  port is satisfied" is not a substitute for asserting return values.
- RunLookup has no contract test against a real RunStore. A renamed key in
  the dict RunStore.get() returns would turn every rating into a 404 with
  the suite still green.

b56e939c4b docs(schedule): cover the ports and the application service
The design doc stopped at the model layer while ports.py and service.py
had already landed, so it described the inner ring as one third of what
is actually there and still called the other two "to be built".

Two new chapters. Ports covers the three contracts that matter more than
the signatures — another user's task reads as absent rather than
forbidden, only ThreadBusyError or LaunchFailedError may escape a
launch, and RunOutcome keeps the run runtime out of the domain — plus
the two deliberate absences (no Clock, no claimer identity) and the line
between single-threaded semantics, which the contract owns, and
atomicity, which it does not. The service chapter walks dispatch_task's
four exits as a diagram, explains why the global budget is not a
per-poll batch size, and records why the context change travels packaged
rather than behind a sentinel.

The rest follows: the migration map now shows the inner ring complete
and only adapters outstanding, the overview gains the discipline each of
the three layers is held to, the dev guide gains "add a use case" and a
warning against writing rules in the service, and the pitfalls and
glossary pick up what the new layers introduce.

9d0b09558e feat(schedule): add the schedule domain model
First step of the scheduled-task context's hexagonal migration: the
inner-ring model, with zero infrastructure dependencies.

- ScheduleSpec / SchedulePolicy value objects
- ScheduledTask aggregate root
- ScheduledRun aggregate
- 9 domain errors, 5 enums

Rules are migrated verbatim from their current homes, each method's
docstring citing the source line: timezone/cron/next-run calculation
from deerflow/scheduler/schedules.py, context-mode and re-arm rules from
routers/scheduled_tasks.py, and the four status-derivation rules from
app/scheduler/service.py.

Two things previously held by convention are now enforced by
construction. Validation and normalization live in __post_init__, so
building a ScheduleSpec field-by-field cannot bypass them. The skipped
tombstone is a separate factory, so it can never be written as the
transient queued row that would collide with uq_scheduled_task_run_active.

The domain does not serialize itself: mapping the stored schedule_spec
JSON in and out stays with the adapter layer, keeping Mapping[str, Any]
out of every domain signature.

Production code still runs through app/scheduler/service.py -- this
commit adds no call sites and changes no behavior.

fix(runtime): accept the SDK's default stream_resumable=false (#4468)
RunCreateRequest declared stream_resumable as None-only, but langgraph_sdk
defaults it to False (not None) and its payload filter only drops None, so
every SDK request carried "stream_resumable": false and was rejected with 422.
False means "no resumable stream", which is what DeerFlow already serves.

This broke every IM channel run (runs.stream and runs.create both send the
field; only runs.wait omits it) and any external langgraph_sdk client. The web
frontend was unaffected because its compatibility wrapper does not send it.

An explicit true still returns 422. The new regression test drives a real SDK
client to capture its default payload and posts that to the HTTP boundary, so a
future non-None SDK default cannot regress this silently.

With summarization.model_name: null the summary model resolved to
config.models[0] while the executing model is selected per run; when they
differ and models[0]'s provider is broken (expired key, quota, outage)
compaction silently failed every triggered turn and context grew unbounded
until the main provider 400s the run (#3103's shape), even though the run's
own model was healthy.

Model ownership is now sourced from the builders, not re-derived at runtime:
- The lead, subagent, and manual /compact builders each pass the resolved run
  model into create_summarization_middleware(run_model_name=...). The middleware
  no longer reads runtime.context / get_config(), which do not carry a custom
  agent's or a subagent's resolved model, so a custom-agent lead run and a
  distinct-model subagent now summarize with their own model, not models[0] /
  the parent's. Runtime re-resolution and the per-name model cache are removed.
- model_name: null summarizes with the run's own model; an explicitly configured
  summary model generates and falls back to the run model on failure. The
  fallback is built lazily after the primary fails and its construction is
  guarded, so a broken fallback cannot skip a healthy primary or escape the
  automatic failure boundary.

Failure is bounded and side-effect-safe:
- An empty or whitespace-only response is treated as a generation failure, not a
  valid summary, so compaction never removes all history for an empty replacement.
- compact_state/acompact_state take raise_on_failure independent of force: the
  manual /compact path always surfaces a generation failure (even force=false)
  and routes it to the existing ContextCompactionFailed path (HTTP 500 ->
  frontend error toast) instead of an unconsumed response reason. The automatic
  path leaves compaction state unchanged.
- before_summarization hooks fire only after a replacement summary exists.

SummarizationConfig.model_name, config.example.yaml, and docs/summarization.md
document the final lead/subagent/manual ownership rules.

Part of RFC #4346 (section A). Evaluating fraction/triggers against the run
model's profile (profile ownership) is a separate follow-up.

* fix(summarization): manual /compact model ownership + fail-open construct/parse

Manual /compact carried only agent_name, so it derived the run model from the
custom-agent model or config.models[0] and missed the request-selected model the
run path uses (request -> custom-agent -> default). Carry model_name through
ThreadCompactRequest and the frontend compact call, resolve with the same
precedence, and move the custom-agent config read off the event loop (asyncio
.to_thread) with user_id so the strict blocking-IO gate is not bypassed by the
broad except.

Make one summary attempt own its full lifecycle so the fail-open boundary covers
construction and response parsing, not just invocation: build each candidate model
lazily and guarded (a raising constructor falls through to the healthy run model
instead of breaking agent construction), build the model_name:null primary from the
run model rather than config.models[0], and run response text extraction inside the
invocation try so a failing .text accessor falls back instead of escaping compaction.
Adds factory-level constructor-failure, response-extraction-failure (sync/async), and
route-path model-ownership tests.

feat(agents): database-backed storage for custom agent definitions (#4359)
* feat(agents): database-backed storage for custom agent definitions

Add an agent_storage.backend switch (default file, behaviour-unchanged) with a
db backend that stores each custom agent as a row in the shared SQL persistence
layer, so a multi-instance deployment sees the same agents on every node
(#4331, #4357). Introduces an AgentStore interface routing all read/write
surfaces, an agents table + migration 0006, startup validation, and a file->db
importer. Follows the thread_meta store / run_events backend-switch /
0003_scheduled_tasks migration patterns; no new dependency.

* fix(agents): make db storage path production-ready (review round 1)

Addresses review feedback on the db/sync agent-storage path:

- sql.py: mirror the async engine's per-connection SQLite PRAGMAs on the sync
  engine (busy_timeout=30000, synchronous=NORMAL, foreign_keys=ON, WAL) so both
  engines behave identically against the shared DB; guard the engine cache with
  a lock (double-checked) so concurrent first-touch cannot build duplicate
  engines or register the connect listener twice.
- routers/agents.py + routers/assistants_compat.py: offload the sync-store reads
  that ran on the event loop (list/get/check, update's pre-read + legacy guard +
  refresh, and assistants_compat's four list routes) via asyncio.to_thread — on
  db+postgres each was a network round trip stalling the loop. Writes were
  already offloaded.
- file.py: translate the create() mkdir(exist_ok=False) race FileExistsError
  into AgentExistsError (router 409, matching SqlAgentStore's IntegrityError
  path); correct the _write docstring — per-file atomic replace, two commits
  sequential not transactional.

Tests: sync-engine PRAGMA + engine-cache reuse assertions; file create-race ->
AgentExistsError; strict Blockbuster anchor over the read endpoints so a
regression back onto the loop fails CI.

* fix(agents): address round-2 review on the db store path

- update_agent tool: align the docstring/inline comment with FileAgentStore._write.
  Cross-field write atomicity is db-only; the file backend commits config then
  soul via two sequential os.replace (a crash between them can leave a fresh
  config.yaml beside a stale SOUL.md). The dropped partial-write *reporting* is
  an intentional tradeoff — the stage-then-replace safety is preserved
  (test_update_agent_soul_failure_does_not_replace_config still holds).
- SqlAgentStore.update(): true upsert. Catch IntegrityError on the
  insert-on-missing branch, re-fetch and apply, so two concurrent first-time
  writes (e.g. two setup_agent handshakes) converge instead of surfacing a raw
  UNIQUE(user_id, name) violation as a 500. Symmetric with create().
- get_agent_store(): document the graph-subprocess config-resolution invariant
  (the except->file fallback is a genuine no-config path, not a mask for a
  misconfigured graph process) and pin it with two tests driving the real
  get_app_config() file resolution: db resolves from an on-disk config.yaml,
  file fallback when config is unresolvable.

* test(agents): cover SqlAgentStore.update() write-race upsert recovery

Mandatory-TDD test for the round-2 fix in 0680340a: two concurrent first-time
update()s where the loser's insert hits UNIQUE(user_id, name). Deterministically
forces the IntegrityError recovery path by making the first _row probe miss the
committed winner, and asserts last-writer-wins instead of a surfaced 500.

Why: Manual browser control felt laggy — a physical click ran the remote
Playwright click three times and each non-move input synchronously awaited a
JPEG screenshot, so events queued behind capture (queue wait up to ~237ms).
The first async attempt used a trailing-edge debounce, which froze the visible
page until a wheel/keyboard gesture stopped ("scroll finishes, then it jumps").

What:
- Frontend forwards one `click` per physical click instead of also emitting
  `down`/`up`, so the remote page is not clicked twice per gesture.
- Backend detaches live-frame capture from input dispatch: non-move actions
  start a rate-limited background refresh loop (leading frame + bounded cadence)
  that keeps emitting frames while input continues and never blocks dispatch.
- Add regression tests: input dispatch no longer awaits the screenshot, rapid
  inputs coalesce, and continuous input keeps refreshing before it stops.

Scenarios: Verified in the live Browser panel — a single click completes in
~57ms (was blocked behind a 171ms capture), and a 1.14s sustained wheel gesture
renders ~7 frames throughout the scroll instead of one frame after it ends.

When tool_search.enabled=true defers MCP tool schemas, PR1 routing hints
still require the model to spend a tool_search discovery round trip before
it can call the tool the routing metadata already points at. This adds a
McpRoutingMiddleware that matches the latest user message against PR1
routing keywords and promotes the matching deferred schemas before the
model call, removing that round trip.

Design (soft routing, opt-in, additive):
- Matches only the latest real HumanMessage (shared is_real_user_message
  helper, reused by SkillActivationMiddleware so the two cannot drift);
  case-insensitive substring match, no tokenizer dependency.
- Ordering: priority desc, then tool name asc; capped by the new global
  tool_search.auto_promote_top_k (default 3, clamped 1..5). Does not add or
  consume a per-tool auto_promote_top_k (PR1 schema unchanged); a per-tool
  value is ignored with a DEBUG note.
- Returns a plain {"promoted": ...} state update (not a Command) and relies
  on ThreadState.merge_promoted for union/dedupe, so auto-promote and a
  model-triggered tool_search converge on the same catalog hash.
- Installed before DeferredToolFilterMiddleware on every deferred-tool path
  (lead agent, subagent, embedded client, webhook via shared builders);
  a construction-time assert rejects the reversed order. catalog_hash is
  None / no routing index is a complete no-op, so bootstrap and ACP skip it.
- Privacy: never executes tools, never promotes policy-filtered tools, adds
  no routing keywords or matched tool names to trace metadata or INFO/WARN
  logs.

No behavior change when tool_search.enabled=false.

Tests: index construction, matching semantics, middleware state updates,
same-cycle deferred-filter interaction, lead/subagent/embedded-client
builder wiring + order invariant, config clamping, config.example.yaml
parseability, and privacy assertions.

* refactor(mcp): address auto-promote review nits

- executor: access app_config.tool_search.auto_promote_top_k directly to match
  the lead-agent and embedded-client paths (drop the over-defensive getattr that
  masked missing config); update the subagent test mock to carry tool_search.
- tool_search / mcp_routing_middleware: cross-reference the duplicated routing
  priority/keyword normalization between the builder and the middleware's
  defensive _normalize_index so they cannot silently drift.
- MCP_SERVER.md: document that auto-promote keyword matching is a case-insensitive

fix(models): normalize api_base->base_url for ChatOpenAI + warn on unknown config keys (#3790)
ModelConfig is `extra="allow"`, so a config key like `api_base` (which
config.example.yaml uses for other model classes, e.g. PatchedChatDeepSeek and
Moonshot) gets copied onto a `langchain_openai:ChatOpenAI` model by users.
LangChain's OpenAI client does not reject the unknown kwarg — it transfers it
into `model_kwargs` (with a UserWarning), which is then spread into every
`Completions.create()` call and rejected by the OpenAI SDK at REQUEST time with
an opaque `unexpected keyword argument 'api_base'` error. The endpoint override
is also silently dropped, so the model targets the wrong base URL.

Changes in factory.py, mirroring the existing OpenAI-compatible helpers:

- `_normalize_openai_base_url`: renames `api_base` -> `base_url` for the
  OpenAI-compatible family (ChatOpenAI + PatchedChatOpenAI); when an endpoint
  key is already present, drops the alias with a warning. Runs before the
  stream_usage/stream_chunk_timeout heuristics so they see the canonical key.
- `_warn_unknown_model_settings`: scoped to the same OpenAI-compatible family
  (where the model_kwargs divert-and-crash actually happens and the field/alias
  set is accurate), logs an actionable warning for unrecognized config keys.
- The three OpenAI-compatible helpers now share `_OPENAI_COMPAT_USE_PATHS`
  instead of disagreeing on the literal class string.

Adds a note to docs/CONFIGURATION.md and 9 tests covering normalization
(ChatOpenAI + PatchedChatOpenAI, both-set precedence for base_url and
openai_api_base, non-OpenAI class untouched, no-op when unset) and the
unknown-key warning (fires on a typo, silent on a clean config and on
non-OpenAI providers like ChatAnthropic).

  readable message; an interrupted once task ends 'cancelled', not 'failed'
- enforce overlap_policy=skip for fresh_thread_per_run via an active-run
  pre-check (same-thread ConflictError can never fire across fresh threads)
- protect terminal run statuses from the late launch-path 'running' write
- honor context.non_interactive only for internally-authenticated callers;
  arbitrary clients can no longer strip ask_clarification
- fix DST-stale timezone offset in zonedLocalToUtcIso by re-deriving the
  offset at the resolved instant (once tasks fired an hour late around
  spring-forward and the create->edit round-trip diverged)
- drop dead ScheduledTaskRunRepository.update_by_run_id; share one Gateway
  API error helper between channels and scheduled-tasks frontends

* fix(scheduled-tasks): close review round-3 gaps in guards, concurrency, and API ergonomics

- scrub internal-only context keys (non_interactive) from the assembled run
  config for non-internal callers: gating body.context alone left the same
  key smuggle-able through the free-form body.config copied verbatim by
  build_run_config
- guard update_after_launch with protect_terminal so the launch bookkeeping
  write cannot clobber a once task already finalized by a fast-failing run's
  completion hook (parent-row sibling of the run-row guard)
- reject a manual trigger while the task has an active run (409) instead of
  launching a duplicate concurrent run on fresh_thread_per_run
- re-arm a terminal once task to enabled when PATCH pushes run_at into the
  future; previously the endpoint returned 200 with a next_run_at that could
  never be claimed
- make max_concurrent_runs a real global cap: each poll claims only into the
  remaining budget of active (queued/running) scheduled runs
- paginate GET /scheduled-tasks/{id}/runs (limit<=200, offset) and push the
  thread filter of /threads/{id}/scheduled-tasks into SQL
- stamp context.user_id on scheduler-launched runs, matching IM channels, so
  user-scoped guardrail providers see the owning user

The structured-metadata stamp overwrote the wrapper text with the bare
task-failure message, dropping the model-facing 'Continue with available
context, or choose an alternative tool.' guidance that every other tool
exception keeps. Append the shared hint after the formatted message.

* fix(subagents): require lowercase hex for result_sha256 reader

Length-only validation accepted any 64-char string; a faulty serializer
or relaying wrapper could store a non-digest value in the delegation
ledger. Enforce the producer's hexdigest shape with a fullmatch.
