fix(channels): share chat-to-thread bindings through the database (#6558)
* fix(channels): share chat-to-thread bindings through the database ChannelManager kept its IM chat-to-thread bindings (channel_name:chat_id[:topic_id] -> thread_id) in a per-process JSON file, channels/store.json, loaded once and rewritten whole on every change. With several Gateway processes a binding created on one replica was invisible to the others (the next message for the same chat opened a second thread) and concurrent writers clobbered each other's file. - New channel_thread_bindings table (migration 0036_channel_thread_bindings) and harness package deerflow.persistence.channel_thread_bindings: key PK (the legacy composite string), channel_name, chat_id, nullable topic_id, thread_id, user_id, epoch created_at/updated_at; index (channel_name, chat_id). Dialect upsert keeps created_at; prefix remove and batched ON CONFLICT DO NOTHING import. - app.channels.store.ChannelStore is an async protocol: SqlChannelStore for sqlite/postgres, JsonChannelStore (file I/O via asyncio.to_thread) for database.backend: memory. resolve_channel_store picks at ChannelService construction; ChannelService.start() imports an existing store.json once into an empty table and renames it store.json.migrated (a concurrently importing peer neither duplicates nor clobbers; a populated table leaves the file alone). - Callers updated: manager, connection_identity.lookup_thread_id, Feishu (send() awaits the mapping writer; the synchronous lark callback bridges its two store calls to the Gateway loop with a bounded wait), Discord (channels_dir). - Head pins in the 0027_0028/0029/0032/0034/0035 migration tests point at the new head; docs (channels and migrations AGENTS.md, CONFIGURATION.md, README) and CHANGELOG updated. * docs(changelog): link the channel thread bindings entry to #6558 * fix(channels): reject only the Gateway loop in the Feishu store bridge lark-oapi 1.5.5 invokes the message callback synchronously from its async frame handler, on the private event loop that FeishuChannel._run_ws starts for the SDK thread. The bridge's guard treated any running loop as unsafe, so every real inbound message skipped the stored-topic lookup and the pending-mapping restore: a reply whose parent card was mapped but whose root was not fell back to the unknown root, and could consume an unrelated pending clarification. Only a wait issued from the Gateway loop itself (the loop that executes the submitted coroutine) is refused now; the SDK's own loop may block for the bounded wait, as that thread blocked on the JSON rewrite before. Tests drive _on_message from a worker thread running its own loop, the production shape, for both the lookup and the write path, and pin the Gateway-loop refusal. * fix(channels): defer unresolved Feishu lookups and harden the store.json import Review follow-ups on the chat-to-thread binding store (#6558): - Import: a legacy entry whose key, channel_name, chat_id, topic_id, thread_id or user_id exceeds its column width is skipped and counted with the malformed ones instead of failing the whole batch on PostgreSQL (SQLite silently accepted the same row, so the backends diverged on one file). The corrupt-file warning now says what each caller does: the JSON store starts fresh, the import is skipped and the file kept. - Feishu bridge: store calls run on the Gateway loop under a 3s asyncio.wait_for (the SDK loop also services ws keepalives; the old 10s bound could stall it per message), and the lark-thread wait is that budget plus 1s. A deadline or store error is StoreLookupUnresolved, never a miss: _on_message no longer routes such a reply onto its unknown root (which created a second thread and later overwrote the parent alias). The message joins a per-chat FIFO drained on the Gateway loop with backoff for up to 30s, then is dropped with a warning. _on_message is split into parse / resolve / dispatch so the deferred path dispatches the same way; later messages for the chat queue behind the deferred one. * fix(tests): expect follow_redirects in the Jina client kwargs after #5808 #5808 made JinaClient pass follow_redirects=True to httpx.AsyncClient and updated test_jina_client.py, but test_jina_response_limit.py and test_jina_retry_after.py still pin the exact client kwargs to proxy and trust_env, so every backend-unit-tests shard that lands on them fails on main (the backend unit-test workflow only runs on pull requests, which is why the push to main did not surface it). Update the two expectations to include the new keyword. (cherry picked from commit d5aa23156ce19ce36d95df03953442f83ae6d050) * Revert "fix(tests): expect follow_redirects in the Jina client kwargs after #5808" This reverts commit 5bee00bfb09c65a30f77fb4df47a1f82c47ecef7. * fix(channels): bound deferred Feishu routing by the inbound queue capacity Review follow-up on #6558: a store outage let every subsequent message for a chat join the deferred queue with no capacity check (the bus reservation was only taken after routing succeeded), and each queued message started a fresh 30s retry budget when it reached the head, so a burst could be retained for N x 30s and grow without bound. - Intake is reserved BEFORE routing for every store-backed message (bus.reserve_inbound is thread-safe and already used from SDK threads), so deferred and live messages share the one configured bound, channels.inbound_queue_maxsize; a message that cannot be admitted is dropped at once with a warning, never queued or routed as a miss. - The reservation travels with the message into dispatch (committed by _prepare_inbound), is released on the batch path (the flush reserves at publish time), on drop after the budget, on a failed deferral, on dispatch failure and for every leftover when the drain task is cancelled by stop(). - The retry budget runs from the message's arrival: a queued message whose budget is spent when it reaches the head is dropped without a lookup. - The bounded resolver returns the unresolved outcome instead of raising it through the tracked task, which logged an ERROR for an expected, handled store timeout. - Upstream's new blocking-io test constructs the store by its old class name; it now uses JsonChannelStore. --------- Co-authored-by: Willem Jiang <willem.jiang@gmail.com> |

fix(sandbox): give fresh bash.exec runs immediate stdin EOF (#6117)
Why this change:
In Lark broker mode the shim forwards piped stdin to the broker only
after EOF. AIO's /v1/bash transport keeps a subprocess stdin pipe open
for writes, so a bare `lark-cli ...` never saw EOF and the shim blocked
forever on input that would never arrive. An earlier brace-group/eval
approach fixed the hang but changed top-level parsing (aliases/extglob)
or let a trailing backslash consume the appended delimiter.
What changed:
- _run_bash_exec prefixes the original command with `exec < /dev/null`
on its own line, giving the fresh, per-invocation session immediate
EOF on default stdin. Explicit pipes/heredocs/files still override
fd0. The plain prefix keeps top-level parsing and appends no
delimiter a trailing backslash can consume.
- The persistent /v1/shell PTY transport keeps commands unchanged; the
shim already treats TTY stdin as no input.
- The shim drains non-TTY stdin under grace/tail idle budgets
(DEERFLOW_LARK_BROKER_STDIN_{GRACE,TAIL}_SECONDS, default 2s, valid
(0, 600]); an idle pipe exits 124 without contacting the broker, and
read errors fail loudly instead of becoming empty input.
- Broker logs each exec as argc/exit/elapsed only (never argument
values) and warns on concurrency-cap rejections.
Problem solved:
Lark commands without explicit stdin hung indefinitely in broker mode,
stalled producers could execute partial writes, and broker logs risked
capturing argument values. Docs updated: README, harness AGENTS.md,
docker/lark-cli-broker README.

fix(sandbox): expose DEERFLOW_USER_ID to every bash command (#6058)
* fix(sandbox): expose DEERFLOW_USER_ID to bash commands A skill's SKILL.md can trigger scripts, but those scripts run as bash subprocesses inside the sandbox and cannot reach the Gateway auth context, so get_effective_user_id() is unavailable to them and user-scoped skills are impossible to write. The maintainer settled the direction on #3919: inject the id as DEERFLOW_USER_ID. Every bash command now begins with 'export DEERFLOW_USER_ID=<resolved>; ' (or 'unset' when the resolved id is unusable), mirroring the existing DEERFLOW_CHANNEL_USER_ID channel-identity prefix (#3914). The id rides the command string rather than execute_command(env=...), because a non-empty env switches AioSandbox to the bash.exec API reserved for request-scoped secrets. The earlier attempt (#4029) was closed for making every command carry the new export without updating the exact-command assertions in tests/test_channel_user_id_env.py. Those assertions are updated here, and the composition of the two prefixes is pinned by a dedicated test. * fix(sandbox): fix the DEERFLOW_USER_ID unit test and cover review findings Follow-up to the review on this PR. Unit test (CI `backend-unit-tests (2)`): the change moved the command contract but left the exact-command assertion in tests/test_skill_request_scoped_secrets.py::test_local_bash_forwards_env_and_timeout expecting the bare `echo hi`. The local validation run used a `-k` filter that did not select that file, so the breakage was invisible there. The assertion now pins the composed command, and `_is_windows` is patched explicitly so it no longer depends on the host OS. [P2] Windows local sandbox: `export` is invalid under the PowerShell/cmd.exe fallback, but skipping the prefix outright left the promise unmet on Windows. The id is published through `execute_command(env=...)` there instead: LocalSandbox layers `env` into the per-process environment and, unlike AioSandbox, has no persistent session that could carry a stale value. It is deliberately kept out of `injected_env` so the identifier does not enter the secret-redaction set. Docstring: `_user_identity_prefix` now carries the same "informational, not authenticated identity" caveat the channel variable has in backend/app/channels/AGENTS.md. The value is authorization-grade at the Gateway boundary, but any bash command can overwrite its own environment, so skills must not treat the shell variable as proof of identity. Docs: the en/zh sandbox.mdx identity sections and the channels/AGENTS.md identity paragraph now describe the second, outermost prefix, its ordering against the channel prefix, and the Windows behaviour. |

fix(sandbox): enforce bash command timeouts in AIO sandbox (#5634)
* fix(sandbox): enforce AIO shell command timeouts Map Sandbox.execute_command(timeout=T) onto the AIO legacy shell as a server-side hard_timeout=T plus a bounded host request (ceil(T+5)s, max_retries=0), preserve and render the upstream status (hard_timeout -> terminated + Exit Code: 124; no_change_timeout -> may still be running), keep no_change_timeout from preempting hard_timeout, and restrict ErrorObservation replay to completed results. * fix(sandbox): contain ambiguous AIO command outcomes Treat a transport timeout and statuses terminated/no_change_timeout/unknown as ambiguous: never replay the current command, fence the scoped or recovery session generation with bounded best-effort cleanup, and never adopt a replacement session for those statuses. hard_timeout and completed keep the session reusable. Align the env-bearing bash.exec path with the same contract and make its retry result authoritative. * fix(sandbox): wire AIO command timeout from provider config Restore bash_tool's non-local behaviour (other providers keep their own defaults) and let AioSandboxProvider read sandbox.bash_command_timeout as the sandbox's default_command_timeout at every construction site, with explicit per-call timeouts still winning. Widen the config field to float with allow_inf_nan=False and read the provider value with the module fallback so partial-config providers keep working. * docs(sandbox): document AIO command timeout semantics Document the provider-scoped deadline (LocalSandbox/AioSandbox/OpenSandbox wire it; other providers keep their defaults), the semver-vs-frozen-:latest image behaviour, the no-replay guarantees, and trim the sandbox guidance back under its size budget. * docs(sandbox): scope the wedge-resistance claim to command requests willem-bd's review on #5634 reproduced that list_dir and both create_session call sites still make unbounded SDK requests while holding the same sandbox lock, so the guide must not read as if every AIO request is bounded. State that the bounded T+5s host wait applies to command requests and name session-creation and file/list RPCs as not covered; bounding those remains a separate operation-deadline/control-plane follow-up. * fix(sandbox): make list_dir honor the shell generation fence list_dir previously always targeted the implicit persistent shell, so after an ambiguous command outcome fenced that generation (#5634) a listing could re-enter it. Route default-shell target selection through _ensure_default_shell_session_id so both execute_command and list_dir reuse the explicit recovery session, creating one only when the implicit shell is fenced. No list_dir deadline, hard_timeout, request budget, retry, or status semantics are added; those remain scoped to #5644. |

feat(channels): add GitHub as a webhook-driven channel (#3754)
* feat(channels): add GitHub event-driven agents (#3754) Add a webhook-driven GitHub channel with fail-closed webhook routing, deterministic per-agent PR/issue threads, mention-gated trigger fan-out, GitHub App token injection for sandboxed gh/git commands, and backend/AGENTS.md documentation. * fix(llm-middleware): classify bare IndexError as transient Upstream chat providers occasionally return 200 OK with an empty generations list (observed against Volces "coding" on ark.cn-beijing.volces.com). When that happens, langchain_core.language_models.chat_models.ainvoke raises ``IndexError: list index out of range`` at ``llm_result.generations[0][0].message`` and kills the run. Treat a bare IndexError reaching the middleware as a transient upstream-payload glitch and route it through the existing retry/backoff path instead of failing the whole agent run. The retry budget and backoff schedule are unchanged. Adds three regression tests covering the classifier and both the recover-on-retry and exhausted-retries paths. * fix(runtime): ignore stale LLM fallback markers from prior runs When a run on a thread ends with the LLM-error-handling middleware emitting a `deerflow_error_fallback`-marked AIMessage (e.g. after the IndexError empty-generations classification fix lands), that message is persisted to the thread's checkpoint as part of the messages channel. LangGraph replays the full message history in `stream_mode="values"` chunks, so every subsequent run on the same thread re-streams the stale fallback marker — and the worker's chunk scanner faithfully picks it up, flipping `RunStatus.success` to `RunStatus.error` for runs that themselves had no LLM failure at all. Snapshot the set of pre-existing message ids from the pre-run checkpoint and thread it through `_extract_llm_error_fallback_message` / `_try_extract_from_message` as a filter. Markers on history messages are ignored; markers on fresh messages produced during this run still trip the error path. Falls back to an empty set when the checkpointer is absent or the snapshot can't be captured, preserving the prior behavior on first-run / no-state paths. Adds unit tests for the new filter (helper-level and `_collect_pre_existing_message_ids`) plus an integration test exercising the full `run_agent` path with a stale history checkpointer. * fix(channels): make github channel fire-and-forget to avoid httpx.ReadTimeout on long runs GitHub agent runs (clone -> edit -> test -> push -> PR) routinely exceed the langgraph_sdk default 300s read deadline. The manager's runs.wait call kept an HTTP stream open for the entire run lifetime, so the long run blew up with httpx.ReadTimeout and the outer except branch then released the dedupe key and emitted a false 'internal error' outbound. The GitHub channel's outbound send is log-only by design: agents post to the issue/PR via the gh CLI in the sandbox when they choose to comment or create a PR. There is nothing for the manager to ferry back, so the long-poll was pure overhead. This change adds ChannelRunPolicy.fire_and_forget (default False) and sets it True for the github channel. When fire_and_forget is True, _handle_chat dispatches via client.runs.create (short POST, returns once the run is pending) instead of client.runs.wait, and skips the response-extraction + outbound-publish block. ConflictError on a busy thread still trips the standard THREAD_BUSY_MESSAGE path so behavior on the busy case is preserved for any future non-github fire-and-forget channel. Other (non-github) channels are unchanged: their policy defaults fire_and_forget=False and they continue to dispatch via runs.wait. Adds 6 regression tests in tests/test_channels.py::TestGithubFireAndForget: - Default ChannelRunPolicy.fire_and_forget is False. - The github policy registers fire_and_forget=True. - github inbound calls runs.create, not runs.wait, with the right kwargs. - github inbound publishes no outbound on success. - ConflictError from runs.create still emits THREAD_BUSY_MESSAGE. - Non-github channels (slack) still dispatch via runs.wait. * test(lead-agent): accept user_id kwarg in skill-policy test stubs The two GitHub-channel tests added in #3754 stubbed _load_enabled_skills_for_tool_policy with a lambda that only accepted `available_skills` and `app_config`, but the real function (and its call site in agent.py) also passes `user_id`. This raised TypeError on every run, failing backend-unit-tests. Add `user_id=None` to match the three sibling stubs in the same file. * refactor(gateway): disambiguate context-key set names The two frozensets _INTERNAL_ONLY_CONTEXT_KEYS and _CONTEXT_ONLY_KEYS shared a confusable "CONTEXT_ONLY" token in different orders, and the first broke the _CONTEXT_<X>_KEYS pattern of its sibling _CONTEXT_CONFIGURABLE_KEYS. Rename to make the distinct axes explicit: _CONTEXT_INTERNAL_CALLER_KEYS - WHO: internal callers (scheduler) only _CONTEXT_RUNTIME_ONLY_KEYS - WHERE: runtime context only, never configurable Pure rename, no behavior change. |
